Everything seems to be fine, then suddenly, your child is screaming, hitting, or running away. It feels like there was no warning. Now she's melting down, and you have no idea what to do. Afterwards, you're still shaken and frantic, and she's all "what's for dinner?"
This free workshop talks about why kids seem to go 0-60, ideas for preventing it, and strategies to use during the crisis. No judgment, no platitudes, no suggesting it would all disappear if you yourself just took some deep breaths.
You don't need to have been here before. You don’t need to have it together. That's kind of the point. Sweatpants & questions are welcome.
Programs are led by The Huddle for Families director Jacqui Robbins. Learn more about Jacqui on our About Us page.
